Simon studied Acting with NIDA before moving to London to study Expressive Mime and Performance with Adam Darius, who was described by the BBC World Service as "one of the most exceptional talents of the 20th century".
Upon his return to Australia he worked part-time in marketing while pursuing his acting career but changed tack in 2001 and moved to Germany to be with his partner. Whilst teaching Business English in Hamburg he developed a coaching technique which combined improvisation skills and role-playing techniques with the classic Business English subjects such as presenting, small talk and negotiating.
His technique includes voice control and articulation training combined with speech and body language analysis to ensure every presentation makes an impact.
He eventually started his own English language coaching business and utilized his marketing skills to attract some of the largest companies in Germany including Gbr. Heinemann and GfK SirValuse – Europe’s leading User Experience provider.
